SANDBOX.KIDS

By using the SANDBOX.KIDS platform, you become part of a huge community of creators and viewers focused on children and their parents from all over the world. To ensure everyone feels comfortable, we have developed the rules described below.

If you find content that does not comply with our rules, please report it to us here.

The rules apply to all types of content on our platform, including restricted and shareable videos, comments, links, posts, and badges. This is not an exhaustive list.

1. Introduction

SANDBOX.KIDS is a platform for children and their parents to have fun, be entertained, educated, learn, create, and create, discover many interesting ideas, be creative, and meet people from all over the world.

Our mission is to create a fun and safe space where children can:

  • Learn — through movies, cartoons and lessons from tutors,
  • Create — inspired by ideas for crafts, drawing and experiments,
  • Explore the world — discovering science, technology and stories of real heroes,
  • Play and communicate — in a kind atmosphere where fun is combined with development!

We believe that every child is talented — and we help them discover their abilities with joy!

To maintain a pleasant, safe and relaxed atmosphere on our platform, we have developed community rules. These rules apply to all users and to all content on our platform. They contain instructions on what is allowed in SANDBOX.KIDS, as well as content standards. These rules are constantly updated to prevent new risks and possible harm.

To make it easier for you to read the rules. If you have doubts and don't know whether it's okay to publish what you want, remember this simple rule: be kind and treat others the way you would like to be treated.

2. Permitted and prohibited content for uploading to the SandBox.kids platform

Allowed:

  1. Educational and developmental videos
  • Scientific experiments (physics, chemistry, biology - in a safe form)
    • Learning languages ​​(English, sign language, etc.)
    • Logical problems, puzzles, mathematics in a game form
    • Basic programming for children (Scratch, simple algorithms)
    • Historical facts in a format adapted for children

  • Kind cartoons and programs (without aggression and scary scenes)
  • Children's songs, lullabies, karaoke
  • Fairy tales and audio fairy tales with visualization
  • Master classes in drawing, modeling, handicrafts
  • Unpacking and reviews of children's products (toys, books, creative sets)

  • Parent-child games (board games, outdoor games)
  • DIY projects (crafts, building houses, experiments)
  • Cooking videos for kids (simple recipes)
  • Games with branded toys
  • Role-playing games with toys

  • Ethical unboxing (without excessive consumerism)
  • Educational vlogs (how cartoons are filmed, how toys are made)
  • Challenges that develop skills and creativity

Prohibited:

  • Content 18+ (violence, eroticism, obscene language).
  • Dangerous challenges (harmful to health).
  • Fraud and deception ("free gifts", data collection).
  • Propaganda of bad habits (smoking, alcohol, drugs).
  • Cyberbullying and trolling (ridicule, threats, harassment).
  • False information (fakes, pseudoscientific theories).

SANDBOX.KIDS does not allow content with calls to directly purchase goods and services from the list below, links to websites selling them, or offers to assist in purchasing. It is also not allowed to publish email addresses, phone numbers, or other information about how to contact the supplier.

List of goods and services prohibited from publication:

  • Alcohol;
  • Bank account passwords, stolen credit cards or their details, and other financial information;
  • Counterfeit documents or currency;
  • Narcotic substances and other drugs whose circulation is controlled by law;
  • Explosives;
  • Organs;
  • Endangered species and their body parts;
  • Firearms and some accessories;
  • Nicotine-containing products, including electronic cigarettes and related products;
  • Gambling sites,
  • Prescription drugs (without a prescription);
  • Sex or escort services;
  • Unlicensed medical services;
  • Human smuggling.

Note: If you post contact information for resources that allow you to purchase hard drugs or certain poisonous substances or buy prescription drugs without a prescription, your channel may be removed. Contact information includes, but is not limited to, phone numbers and email addresses, as well as links to such resources. Below are examples.

In addition, the following materials cannot be published on SANDBOX.KIDS:

  • Content about the use or manufacture of hard drugs. Also prohibited is the sale or promotion of hard or soft drugs, promotion of over-the-counter sales of controlled medications, and demonstration of steroid use outside of an educational context.
  • Content on how to buy or create poison. It is prohibited to promote the sale, free distribution, modification, or alteration of certain poisons and toxic substances.
  • Instructions for students on how to cheat the educational system.

The rules apply to all SANDBOX.KIDS products and features, including videos, their descriptions, comments on them, and live broadcasts. This list is not exhaustive. The rules also apply to external links (clickable URLs, verbal calls to go to the site, etc.).

Examples

Below are some examples of what we consider to be a violation of the rules.

This list is not exhaustive.

  • Providing access to an online gambling or sports betting site
  • Promising guaranteed profits from online gambling (regardless of whether the site is approved or not).
  • Offering fake passports or providing instructions on how to create fake official documents.
  • Advertising escort services, prostitution, or erotic massage.
  • Content providing instructions on how to buy drugs on the dark web.
  • Videos of a user making a purchase using software that generates fake credit card numbers.
  • A link to an online pharmacy website that does not require a prescription to make purchases.
  • Content promoting products that contain nicotine, narcotics, or controlled substances.
  • Videos of hard drug use. For example, non-educational videos of people injecting drugs such as heroin, sniffing glue, or ingesting acid coated on stamps.
  • Instructions on how to make hard drugs, such as a non-educational video that teaches how to make drugs.
  • Videos of children using alcohol or drugs. For example, videos of children using e-cigarettes, alcohol, tobacco, or marijuana, or using fireworks inappropriately.
  • Instructions on how to use steroids. This may include a non-educational video that shows how to use steroids for recreational purposes, such as bodybuilding.
  • Videos that promote the sale of recreational drugs by providing links to places to buy marijuana or salvia.
  • ​​Videos that show hard drugs for the purpose of selling. Some hard drugs are listed below. This is not a complete list. Note that individual substances are sometimes known by different names:

  • Amphetamine;
  • Cocaine;
  • Dextromethorphan (DXM);
  • Flunitrazepam;
  • Fentanyl;
  • Gammahydroxybutyrate (GHB);
  • Heroin;
  • Ketamine;
  • K2;
  • LSD;
  • MDMA/ecstasy;
  • Mescaline;
  • Methamphetamine;
  • Isotonitazene (ISO);
  • Opium;
  • Phencyclidine;
  • Psilocybin and psilocybe (hallucinogenic mushrooms).

Content that promotes the sale of certain poisonous substances. The following are examples. This is not a complete list. Note that certain substances are known by different names:

  • Cyanide;
  • Chloroform;
  • Mercury;

Instructions for making certain poisonous substances, such as an unrelated educational video on how to make poison.

Note. If you post contact information for resources that allow you to purchase hard drugs or poisonous substances or buy prescription drugs without a prescription, your channel may be removed. Contact information includes, but is not limited to, phone numbers and email addresses, as well as links to such resources.

These are just some examples of inappropriate content. If you believe that your content may violate our rules, do not publish it.

Important:

All content must be friendly and age-appropriate for the target audience. Even permitted categories may be removed if the presentation of the material contradicts the spirit of the children's platform.

For controversial cases, additional verification by moderators is provided.

3. Rules of communication and behavior of Sandbox.kids participants

Allowed:

  • Polite communication in the comments.
  • Ask questions and help others.
  • Praise authors for good content.

Prohibited:

  • Insult, tease, threaten.
  • Distribute personal data (your own and others').
  • Send spam and advertising.
  • Impersonate someone else (fakes).

4. Security and privacy

It is prohibited to:

  • Ask children to provide their address, phone number, school.
  • Encourage them to switch to other social networks or messengers.
  • Post links to suspicious sites.

Parents can:

  • Report a violation.
  • Request that their child's data be deleted.

5. Copyright

It is permitted to:

  • Use music.
  • Create original content.

It is prohibited to:

  • Take other people's videos and pass them off as your own.
  • Use characters from commercial cartoons without permission.

6. Content moderation

To ensure that our platform is both safe and diverse, it is necessary to maintain a balance between the right to express an opinion and the prevention of harm. To do this, we use a number of approaches aimed at safety.

7. Removal of content that violates the rules

Every user who joins SANDBOX.KIDS has the opportunity to freely distribute their content on the platform. At the same time, we remove content that is posted publicly or privately if it violates our rules.

8. Restricting access to content intended for adults

The SANDBOX.KIDS platform was created for children and their parents and it mainly distributes entertainment, educational and other content aimed at children's development, as well as content for an older teenage audience and for parents. However, not all content is suitable for a younger audience. We restrict access to adult content if it is intended for people aged 18 and older.

9. Rules for external links

SANDBOX.KIDS does not allow links to content that violates our rules. If you find such links, please report them here.

10. How to Avoid Violating the Rules

Information for Creators and Subscribers

Do not add links to sites with content that violates the community rules. Here are some examples of such resources (the list is not exhaustive):

  • Pornographic sites;
  • Sites and applications that install malicious or unwanted software;
  • Phishing sites and applications that may steal login credentials, financial data, or other information;
  • Sites, applications, and other services that allow illegal access to audio or audiovisual content, video games, software, or streaming services that usually require a fee;
  • Sites that promote joining terrorist organizations or collect funds for them;
  • Sites containing images of minors in a sexual context;
  • Services that sell goods with restricted circulation;
  • Sites with content that violates SANDBOX.KIDS rules regarding discriminatory speech or threats and insults;
  • Sites with materials that encourage viewers to aggression;
  • Sites and applications with misleading or false information that can cause serious harm, including in real life, for example, obstructing democratic processes;
  • Sites with manifestos of malicious people about violence.

These rules apply to videos and audio, channels, comments (including pinned ones), other products and functions of SANDBOX.KIDS. In addition to adding active links to inappropriate resources, it is prohibited to insert inappropriate URLs into videos or images, use disguised links (for example, ending in "dot com" instead of ".com") and pronounce addresses in videos or audio. You cannot ask viewers to go to the author's profile or page on other platforms, or to another site to view inappropriate content. These are just a few examples.

Note: Posting content from partner channels does not violate the terms of use of SANDBOX.KIDS. However, if you add large volumes of such materials to individual channels, your actions may be considered spam.

Examples

Here are some examples of content that is not allowed on SANDBOX.KIDS:

  • Videos of a sexual nature, the description of which contains a link to a pornographic site with the description "Follow this link and watch content that is prohibited on SANDBOX.KIDS.
  • Description of a gameplay video, which contains a link to a resource where you can allegedly get game currency or funds to your online store balance, but in fact malware is installed.
  • Link to a phishing site where user credentials for logging into online banking are stolen.
  • Videos that contain an inactive link to a site with spam or pornography and a call to paste it into the address bar.
  • A link to a website, file hosting or other resource where you can find or download content depicting minors in a sexual context.
  • A video in which the author asks viewers to go to his page or profile on another platform and watch content there that violates the SANDBOX.KIDS community rules.
  • A video that contains an embedded URL of a website with inaccurate information about the elections, such as voting time, the address of the polling station, voting methods or conditions for participation.

This list is not exhaustive. If you believe that your content may violate our rules, do not publish it.

11. What happens to violators

If you post content that doesn't comply with our rules, we'll remove it and notify you by email. If we can't verify that a link is safe, we'll remove it. If a video or its metadata links to pages that don't comply with our rules, we may remove it.

A first violation will likely only result in a notice

If you receive three strikes within 30 days, your channel may be removed

12. Safety and Well-Being of Minors

We are committed to ensuring that SANDBOX.KIDS is a safe place for people under 18 (we use the terms "minors", "youth", "young people") to have a positive experience. First of all, you must be of a certain age to use SANDBOX.KIDS. Only a person aged 13 or older can create an account, and for children under 13, an account must be created by their parents. Some areas have additional age restrictions.

We do not tolerate content that may expose minors to physical or psychological harm or threaten their development. If we learn that an account owner has committed a serious violation or sexual offense against a minor, we will disable that account and any other accounts belonging to that person. We report incidents of sexual abuse and exploitation of minors to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). In the event of a specific, credible, and imminent threat to a person’s life or serious physical injury, we will also report it to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

We want young people to have developmentally appropriate experiences on our platform, providing them with a safe environment to learn about the world. To do this, we take a number of special measures, which you can read in the "Rules for creating content on Sandbox.kids"

We provide access to a variety of content on our platform, but some categories of content are only available to adults.

It is prohibited to publish content on SANDBOX.KIDS that calls for the purchase of goods whose circulation is prohibited or restricted by law.
